SouthCon is a manufacturer’s representative formed to serve the electric utility and electric utility distributor market segment.  SouthCon, through planned succession, is currently on its third generation of ownership. Founded in the 1960’s, SouthCon is the merger of two successful agencies (Glenn Huhman & Mills and United Manufacturers Representatives).

Established January 1, 1994, Southern Consolidated Electrical Sales, Inc., (SouthCon) was created to serve the electric utilities in Georgia, Alabama, the Florida Panhandle and Mississippi (essentially, the Southern Company footprint). Through the years, SouthCon has grown to be a full service representative agency for the utility industry. Providing products and services related to generation, transmission, and distribution makes SouthCon one of the strongest agencies in the region.
